Cellcom Money is the mobile money offering from Cellcom, one of Guinea's smaller telecom operators, providing basic mobile financial services including P2P transfers and airtime top-up.
Cellcom Guinea, the parent telco, has collapsed: mobile market share fell from 20% in 2015 to 2.4% by June 2025, quarterly revenue dropped from GNF 14bn to GNF 5bn, its landlord closed the premises over ~$1.6m of unpaid rent in Dec 2025, and the Guinean government is intervening to prevent liquidation. A new operating licence took effect in Jan 2026. No current mobile money service is described in any coverage.
