Pago Móvil — also referred to as C2P (Cobro 2 Personas) or Mobile Payment C2P — is the most widely used domestic payment system in Venezuela for bolivar-denominated transactions. It is an instant inter-bank transfer system operated under the oversight of SUDEBAN, Venezuela's banking regulator, that allows users to send and receive money between any Venezuelan bank accounts using only a phone number and national ID number. Virtually every Venezuelan with a bank account uses Pago Móvil for daily transactions ranging from splitting bills to paying merchants. It is available through all major Venezuelan banks' mobile apps and is the backbone of the domestic digital payments infrastructure.
